Das Werk sent me this model as a care package. It was an interesting little thing for sure, and although I wasn’t particularly stoked about its looks, it was small enough and totally ridiculous, and that would guarantee a fun build. I spiced it up with photo-etch and metal tracks, and suddenly it became a very serious model. It was really refreshing to try painting a hard-edge camouflage with a paintbrush after so many years!
The model is really tiny. A figure would be great to show the size of this vehicle, but at that time I didn’t have the courage to paint figures. The best way to guess the size of this thing from photos is the Bosch headlight or the engineering tools on the mudguards.
