Leopard 2A7V

This is one of those simple pallet-cleanser projects. After finishing the Pacific P16, I needed something easy and quick. The newest 1/48 Tamiya armor kit was a perfect choice, and I built it pretty much completely out of the box.

The Leopard 2 has an aggressive silhouette and when someone says “muddy modern tank” I always imagine this one. There are plenty of images of these tanks roaming around in the forests or muddy fields during field training operations.

It’s a simple proof that a modern tank in a non-combat scenario can be still painted in a pretty exciting way!
