Slow Dust
A simple desert scene I made for my Crusader. This was the first scenic base where I did some “heavy” scratch-building. The improvised road signs were a lot of fun to build and paint, and the desert landscape provided a nice challenge, especially when I tried to introduce as much contrast on the pale sand as possible.
The name of the diorama comes from the hilariously worded sign “Slow dust brings shell fire”. It obviously tries to say “Slow! (as in: Slow down!) Dust brings shell fire!” It’s quite funny, but gets the message across!
