Dead Meat

A diorama I designed around my rusty Conqueror tank. I wasn’t sure how I wanted to present this tank. My initial idea was a small scenic base depicting some kind of semi-industrial backyard where these rusty hulks are often stored awaiting restoration or scrapping. Maybe a chainlink fence with a lamp post in the background, but definitely something simple because the tank is big, and I didn’t want to make another large diorama.

But then I stumbled upon real-life pictures of an old industrial warehouse from a nearby village that I took while I was riding my bike. Change of plans! I just had to include that cool building in the scene and suddenly I ended up with this huge scene.

This diorama is now in a private collection.
